Nick’s Pizza (644 N Delsea Dr, Glassboro NJ) – first vegan pizza with vegan cheese available in Glassboro area, since February 2016
Careme’s – Academy of Culinary Arts (5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing NJ) – since 2010 AVS hosts 5-course vegan dinners as events on
Andrea Trattoria Italiana (16 N High St, Millville NJ) – vegan dinner specials nightly added, did the main dish for Millville Progressive Dinner April 16
BoJo’s Ale House (222 N High St, Millville NJ) – veggie tacos added with vegan cheese option, participated in Taste of Millville
Bruni’s Burgers (432 N High St, Millville NJ) – September 10
November 2016 participated in Taste of Millville (event featured samples at 8 restaurants) with the hit black-beanburger. Provided beanburger salad appetizers for Millville Progressive Dinner 2017. As of 2019 no vegan items on his downsized menu, but considering bringing back the beanburger. Encourage him!
Pilar Restaurant (201 N High St, Millville NJ) – bean-potato
Wildflower Vegan Café (501 N High St, Millville NJ) – cohosts many vegan educational events with AVS such as Taste of Millville, Millville Progressive Dinner 2016 & 2017, movie nights, etc.
Mario’s Pizza (1510 Bay Ave, Ocean City NJ) – first vegan pizza with vegan cheese available in Ocean City began February 2016
Now offers a separate extensive vegan menu. Co-owner Ernesto is now vegan!

Milkie’s (522 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo NY) – created their first vegan item for Buffalo Progressive Dinner on September 20 2018. The vegan pizza proved to be such a hit that the Buffalo International Film Festival did all-vegan parties in 2018 and featured Milkie’s pizza.
Mama Rosa’s Kitchen (69 Chenango St, Buffalo NY) – supplied the desserts for Buffalo Progressive Dinner on September 20 2018. The Buffalo chips (coconut macaroons) are so good they were featured as the back cover photo on American Vegan magazine!
Root & Bloom (423 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo NY) was the main course attraction for the Buffalo Progressive Dinner on September 20 2018 for 67 people. They continue to do amazing vegan meals. Tell them American Vegan sent you!
40 Thieves (727 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo NY) – created their first vegan appetizers for Buffalo Progressive Dinner on September 20 2018. Excellent carrot dogs and mushroom stacker.

New chef debuted 5 items as a showcase November 13 2018 and continues to try new items seasonally.
Philadium (1631 Packer Ave, Phila PA) debuted vegan options on October 23 2018 to a full house. Sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas fill the vegan section of their menu. This place is a real home-run near the stadiums!
Uncle Oogie’s Pizza (2119 W Oregon Ave, Phila PA; & 36 E Snyder, Phila PA; 6118 Landis Ave, Sea Isle City NJ) – when they began vegan pizza at Phila stores, AVS helped promote
AVS pilot projects are predominantly in communities with poor health and/or low income. “Vegan Cuisine Initiatives” is designed to help independent restaurants learn, embrace, offer, and publicize vegan food options. Multi-course dining events AVS hosts at restaurants celebrate new items on the menu!
AVS is excited to have received matching grant donors to the $2500 pledged by A Well-Fed World. We continue to appreciate funds donated for this purpose!
