Bio: Featured twice on Oprah and listed by VegNews among the “Top 10 Living Vegetarian Authors,” Victoria has written fourteen books including The Love-Powered Diet, Main Street Vegan, and Age Like a Yogi. She hosts the Main Street Vegan Podcast and directs Main Street Vegan Academy, training and certifying vegan lifestyle coaches since 2012. She led the production team on the 2019 documentary, A Prayer for Compassion, and is producer and co-screenwriter of the feature in development, Miss Liberty, about a cow who escapes a slaughterhouse and the human drama that ensues.
Vegan since the early 1980s, Victoria lost 60 pounds with a WFPB foodstyle and has maintained that over four decades. In 2016, she was voted Peta’s Sexiest Vegan Over 50; she was inducted in 2024 into the Vegan Hall of Fame; and, with her husband William Melton, unanimously won the Homo Ahimsa Award in 2025.
