Bio: Vesanto Melina, MS, RD is coauthor of 10 books on nutrition, foods, and disease prevention. Her book (with Brenda Davis), Becoming Vegan: Express Edition, was given star rating by the American Library Association as the “go-to book” on vegan nutrition. She has taught nutrition at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and at Seattle’s Bastyr University.
