Here’s a free opportunity for anyone in Philly’s hospitality sector to capitalize on the growing interest in plant-based eating and vegan living. On Tuesday, March 26 at 7:00 pm the American Vegan Center presents Meredith Marin, CEO of Vegan Hospitality in a webinar for chefs, concierges, restaurant and hotel managers, and anyone looking to broaden the appeal of their establishment. Marin will discuss ways of accommodating and appealing to vegan clients as the overall demand for vegan options continues to grow. Small steps that can make lodging and general hospitality more attractive to those striving to live animal-free will be covered. Perspectives from local experts will also be featured. Following Marin’s presentation the webinar will include remarks from Four Seasons concierge Jean Simon, with experience in Center City Philadelphia food tourism, and Aliza Green, a pioneering chef and food-travel expert who frequently features 100% plant-based meals among her offerings. After their remarks, the two will lead a Q&A session among zoom attendees.
