American Vegan Center
Join Watta Kesselly on Sunday June 18 at the American Vegan Center (AVC) for another tasty and inspiring cooking demo.
Can’t go to Jamaica this summer? Let’s bring Jamaica to us! Come learn how to make a veganized version of Rasta Pasta, one of Jamaica’s most delicious, filling, and flavorful dishes. This dish will have your taste buds buzzing!
To further electrify your taste buds, you will experience a tasting session, including the Rasta pasta, mushroom steak, and a light mango and passion fruit dessert.
Watta has given cooking classes at the AVC as part of the Peace Advocacy Network vegan pledge and also on her own. She’s back for a new event because “AVC is the epicenter of veganism!”
To enable our chefs to make adequate preparations for their cooking demos with samples, reservations to attend in person are requested at least 3 days ahead! After this time, price will increase by $5 if seats are available.
Watta Kesselly says: “My passion lies in advocating for education, mental health, and healthy eating. I enjoy volunteering, engaging in thought-provoking conversations, dancing, making yummy vegan food, and exploring all aspects of this beautiful earth!”
