First Friday: World Vegan Day (November 1) and World Vegan Month (November) were proclaimed by Louise Wallis, president of The Vegan Society U.K., in 1994 (their 50th anniversary year.)This is also Philly Vegan Day, so stop in and help us celebrate!
AVS staff will be on hand from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for discussions about going vegan. There will also be music and fun vegan food treats.
This is a free event, although donations to the American Vegan Society are encouraged.
Tell your vegan story. Be inspired by others. Mingle. And above all, have fun on Vegan Day!
