Join Watta Kesselly on Sunday March 26 at the American Vegan Center (AVC) as she shows how to make dishes that are sure to become a staple in your household.
Watta has given cooking classes at the AVC as part of the Peace Advocacy Network vegan pledge and also on her own. She’s coming back to the AVC because “AVC is the epicenter of veganism!”
This will be a food demo of the all-time favorite loaded Mediterranean Falafel Bowl plus refreshing hibiscus tea and dessert of blueberry galett . We will be veganizing food from around the world! The demo includes an epic tasting session.
Says Watta Kesselly: “Come ready to get your hands messy in an atmosphere of foodies like yourself!”
AVC attendees will wear masks except while eating samples. To enable our chefs to make adequate preparations for their cooking demos with samples, reservations to attend in person are requested at least 3 days ahead! After this time, price will increase by $5 if seats are available.
Watta Kesselly says: “My passion lies in advocating for education, mental health, and healthy eating. I enjoy volunteering, engaging in thought-provoking conversations, dancing, making yummy vegan food, and exploring all aspects of this beautiful earth!”
