The Best Vegan Cheesesteak in Philly contest is back in a 10th-anniversary edition!

Citywide voting for Philly-area venues opens at noon on Friday, October 4th and continues until noon on Wednesday, October 16th. Three finalists will be invited to participate in the in-person judging event at the Philadelphia Ethical Society.

Four celebrity judges will sample and rank the finalist sandwiches, which will also be sampled by attendees. Votes from the judges will be tabulated to decide a winner. In the event of a tie among judges, attendees’ rankings will be the tiebreaker.

Residents and/or employees of the Greater Philadelphia area are invited to VOTE in the contest from Oct. 4th to 16th. Each person may vote once per day. The final judging event is hosted by the Philadelphia Ethical Society in Rittenhouse Square.

Will 2023 champion Boardwalk Vegan repeat, or be dethroned by a new challenger? Whoever wins will be congratulated on the spot by a Philly-icon special guest who will be publicly named during the voting period.
