Bio: Emanuel Goldman has been vegan since 1992 (and vegetarian since 1964) with an ethical basis, but Emanuel is also glad about the health and environmental benefits. He is Professor of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at NJ Medical School of Rutgers University in Newark. He has written on food poisoning and animal agriculture and done veg film reviews as “The Vegetarian Cinophile.” Emanuel has played cocktail lounge-style piano to entertain at a number of veg events through the years.
