VegFests are vibrant festivals, large and small, that promote the vegan lifestyle in communities everywhere. They feature food, speakers, exhibits, and merchandise—welcoming vegans, vegetarians, and the veg-curious alike.
The first VegFest was organized by the Toronto Vegetarian Association in 1985. Chester County (PA) held an annual VegFest from 1991 to 2018, and Boston hosted its first major event in 1996.
Whether you’re planning your first visit or looking to reconnect with the vegan movement, you’ll find upcoming festivals across the globe right here.

The Bizerkeley Vegan Presents Fifth Annual Bizerkeley Food Festival on Sunday, Sept. 7
The fifth annual Bizerkeley Food Festival is back and bigger than ever on Sunday, September 7, from noon–6pm at the North Berkeley BART Station! This free outdoor celebration is the Bay Area’s largest vegan event, featuring 100+ vendors, live music, giveaways, games, and more. Omaha Food Fest will FEATURE restaurants, CATERERS, pop-ups and other organizations showcasing the delicious plant-based dishes they currently offer or will create just for this occasion.
